The PICO GO-14 Limited Edition

I am so happy and grateful now that I have had the pleasure of the full Louis Vuitton experience... maybe not the VIP meant for the rich and famous but the one for people who just dropped a bomb in their store. Not a stink bomb (the whiny complainer), not an atom bomb (the bitchy demanding diva), but a bath bomb (the sweet, fun, devil-may-care shopper who likes to spoil themselves and cater to their self indulgence once in a while). 

That's me! And I was pleasantly greeted by the concierge and dotted on with attention and a showcase of beautiful pieces to look at and hold and feel and try on. And a bottle of Evian. When she asked me if I wanted sparkling or flat water, and I said flat is fine (because sparkling might make me come off as a snob) I seriously though it was going to be a glass of tap water. And I'd have been fine with that! Instead I get this...sophisticated, no? lol



Seriously go check out the Louis Vuitton boutique if you have the chance. I've added 'see every Louis Vuitton store in the world' to my bucket list (next one will be in Maui!). It's so easy to end up spending an hour in the store just looking at all the pretty things. It does make the world feel less ugly.

The concierge (not sales representative) was, again, so patient and hospitable with me as she accepted my second return of the most recent LV purse I purchased, and replaced it with my special order. The 3rd (and final!) choice:)). The limited edition GO-14 PICO in champagne color and quilted leather with an elegant gold chain. The quilted effect (malletage) was inspired by the inside of the LV trunks- which are quilted with the malletage effect. Talk about luxurious! Even your undies can get the royal treatment! Which is how Louis Vuitton started as a brand- by serving the queen.




I was told that my beautiful much anticipated purse would be in anytime between next Wednesday to Friday- and I can't wait to get it! The front closure is magnetic with a twist to lock. This purse is THE one for me! It's not an everyday purse but it still fits the essentials for a night out or a special brunch at the hotel MacDonald or Chateau Lake Louise.  This chic purse is eye catching and anyone who appreciates the Louis Vuitton brand will fall in love with all the details that went into this piece.

Ever since I was a little girl I dreamt of fashion and luxury. I imagined myself working in the fashion industry in one way or another, becoming famous for my art and flying away on my private jet to yet another amazing destination. Don't knock the knock off..?

I'm not a fan of knock offs for many reasons, and I said I wasn't going to talk about them- but! I recently stumbled upon a couple of "stores" on Facebook Market Place and found myself drawn to them for all the wrong reasons. I read the detailed descriptions very carefully and compared all the materials to the real thing, and they matched up! Of course, it's difficult to see what the construction is like from a picture and I did notice some minor differences between some of the fakes and the authentic versions, but overall, I have to say I was impressed. One store guaranteed money back, quality assurance (that made me laugh considering it was a fake lol) and even a certificate of authentication! The thing I don't understand is why a knock off made from the same materials and undergoing the same process of construction (minus a few minor hiccups in production) cost significantly less than an authentic version?
